Gas Service Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Gas Service Engineer to join our team at ISS. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and safety of commercial and domestic gas systems, as well as HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial and domestic gas systems, including fault finding and troubleshooting.
  • Install and commission new gas systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide callout response for clients, responding to emergency situations and resolving issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant, including basic electrical fault finding.
  • Monitor and control contractors and their workmanship, ensuring relevant standards are met.
  • Ensure that all gas equipment operates to specified performance criteria.

Requirements

  • Commercial Gas Tickets
  • Domestic Gas Tickets
  • NVQ or C&G in Plumbing
  • Experience with completing PPMs and small replacements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
