Job Type: Contract

Location: Hybrid (London once a week)

Rate: £400 - £450p/d outside IR35

Duration: 6 months

About the Company: Our client is a leading retail company with a rich history dating back to the 1950s. They operate over 10,000 retail outlets across 20 countries and are currently developing a new e-commerce system.

About the Role: We are seeking two contract TypeScript Engineers with expertise in NextJs and React to join our client's highly respected Web development team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional knowledge of TypeScript, NextJs, React, and JavaScript, as well as experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop a new e-commerce system using TypeScript, NextJs, and React
  • Collaborate with the Web development team to ensure high-quality code and clean coding principles
  • Review code and promote best practices in software development
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with TypeScript, NextJs, and React
  • Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and SQL or NoSQL databases
  • Experience with React Hooks, Rest, GraphQL, SCSS, CSS, TDD, Unit Testing, Docker, GIT, and Agile
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

What We Offer:
