About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Restaurant. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Serving Guests: Provide attentive and personalized service to guests in all areas of the Food and Beverage department, including the Restaurant, Bar, Room Service, and Meetings & Events.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with your team to ensure seamless service delivery and a positive guest experience.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to departmental and company policies and procedures.
  • Legislative Compliance: Ensure compliance with legislative and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.
  • Communication and Grooming: Maintain excellent communication skills and adhere to high grooming standards.

**Requirements:**

  • Positive Attitude: Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work and guests.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Grooming Standards: Maintain high grooming standards, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues to deliver exceptional service.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

**Desirable Qualifications:**

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in the Food and Beverage industry, particularly in a restaurant or bar setting.
  • Cash Handling: Experience with cash handling and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Food Hygiene Knowledge: Knowledge of food hygiene regulations and practices.
