Financial Director

Sewell Wallis is partnering with a rapidly expanding manufacturing group to find a Finance Director who will drive their ambitious growth strategy forward.
As a key member of the leadership team, the Finance Director will work closely with the Head of Finance to oversee a small finance team and be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities- Financial Strategy and Performance: Provide guidance and advice on financial strategy and support the optimisation of the company's financial performance.
- Financial Analysis and Decision-Making: Challenge decision-making by providing financial analysis on all activities, plans, and targets.
- Financial Planning and Control: Control the group budget to ensure that group targets are met with continuous monitoring and partnering/communication with all heads of departments.
- Financial Risk Management: Ensure that all financial systems are robust and that the correct processes, controls, and procedures are in place to minimise risk.
- External Relationships: Be the main point of contact with external parties including the bank and auditors.
- Financial Reporting and Audit: Oversee the preparation of the group's financial accounts and co-ordinate the external audit process.
- Acquisition and Integration: Be heavily involved with identifying acquisition targets.
- Contract Reviews and Negotiations: Hold responsibility for contract reviews and negotiations.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating at this level for an SME manufacturer and be qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. To apply, please send your CV, specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
