About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Sustainability Director - Investment to join our client, a specialist asset management and investment firm focused on sustainable investments.

This is a leadership position that provides an influential mandate to design, implement, and drive both internal and external sustainability strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with the company's values and goals.
  • Lead a high-performing team to ensure material sustainability factors are integrated into investment decisions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with commercially focused senior leaders, C-Suite, and Boards.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their sustainability needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sustainability and investment.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of line management and team development.
  • Experience in building relationships with senior leaders and working with Boards.
  • Demonstrable experience in real assets in private markets, including new energy, infrastructure, renewables, and battery storage or forestry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
