About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fraud and Risk Strategy Analyst to join our team at Deliveroo. As a key member of our fraud operations team, you will play a critical role in translating questions and hypotheses into structured analysis, helping the business understand root cause of issues and highlighting areas of improvement for our product and data science teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with business and tech stakeholders to translate questions and hypotheses into structured analysis.
  • Effectively translate data into actionable insights and communicate them to key stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Define, measure and track success metrics for changes to our fraud controls.
  • Design and influence operational best practices for reporting and analytics to enable the team to scale.
  • Create, build and maintain necessary documentation that will help our businesses.
  • Identify areas of opportunity for automation.
  • Participate in quarterly and strategic planning discussions.

Requirements

  • 3+ Years of experience in Data analysis.
  • Data querying, wrangling and transformation / SQL knowledge.
  • Data visualisation and presentation skills using any BI tools.
  • Effective at resolving problems.
  • A curiosity to learn and develop in the fraud domain.
  • Prior experience working at a tech company.
  • Individual contributor background.
  • Prior experience in fraud/abuse analytics domain is preferred.
