Job Title: MEWPS Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MEWPS Engineer to join our team at AFI Group of Companies. As a MEWPS Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the Central Servicing Hub in the smooth-running of operations and servicing and maintaining our expanding hire rental fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), services, LOLER inspections, repairs, and manufacturer updates
* Attending breakdowns on customer sites
* Accurately recording all necessary checks using a company-issued PDA, following company procedure at all times
* Communicating effectively with the engineering team and hire office to ensure maximum machine availability

Requirements:

* Engineering qualification (ideally in plant maintenance) - minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent
* Competent in electro/hydraulic systems
* Experienced in fault-finding/diagnostics
* Ability to communicate professionally
* Prioritise tasks in an ever-changing, demanding hire environment
* Valid IPAF Operator licence/certification
