Job Title: Creative Graduates SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School

Location: Croydon

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Croydon. As a Creative Graduates SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teachers to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with SEND and SEMH needs individually and in small groups
  • Assist class teachers with delivering lessons in core subjects
  • Utilize creativity to make learning fun and accessible to all
  • Work with students across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 (EYFS / Reception - Year 6)

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in a school environment
  • A confident and bubbly individual
  • Someone comfortable with encouraging learning through creativity
  • A passion for education and learning
  • A sufficient understanding of SEND/SEMH needs
