Rehabilitation Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Bristol. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality individualized care to our patients with complex physical and cognitive impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist nursing staff in providing person-centered care to patients, relatives, and carers.
  • Support patients in achieving their planned outcomes through rehabilitation programs.
  • Establish effective communication with patients, reducing barriers when necessary.
  • Assist with activities of daily living and personal care when needed.
  • Communicate any issues to the clinical team and accurately report work activities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential, as training is provided.
  • A genuine interest in providing exceptional person-centered care.
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
