Water Quality Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Quality Specialist to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our water management consultancy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our water management solutions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a friendly and accomplished team, collaborating on projects that safeguard our environment and enhance water quality. You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering water quality investigations, championing high standards of performance, and influencing project development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake water quality investigations and coordinate project delivery
  • Champion high standards of performance and influence project development
  • Support bid preparation and help develop new areas of business
  • Undertake Continual Professional Development in accordance with professional institute requirements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A degree or higher in an environmental or science subjectGood numerical and data analysis skills and good writing skillsA good knowledge of environmental water quality regulation, including the Water Framework Directive, Bathing Water Directive, and Drinking Water DirectiveAn ability to develop innovative approaches in new technical areas and in data-poor environmentsExcellent organizational skills and the ability to plan ahead and deal with multiple projects
