The Team
This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of the Welsh Government Energy Service delivery team, recognized for its world-class support.
Our team collaborates with public sector entities and community energy organizations in Wales to implement energy projects aimed at reducing carbon emissions and fostering local benefits.
We are a dedicated group of professionals passionate about sustainability, community energy, and broader decarbonization efforts.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Administer grant funds for community and public sector energy initiatives in Wales.
- Coordinate staffing and project reporting information from various partners.
- Monitor and manage progress with purchase orders and invoices.
- Provide ad-hoc support for community energy projects.
- Assist the team with internal quality management systems.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in a team support capacity.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines across multiple tasks.
- A solid understanding of IT systems and standard Microsoft applications.
- A genuine interest in sustainability and renewable energy.
