Key Responsibilities- Provide 24-hour cover for the nursing needs of the community
- Relieve the caseload holder and work closely with the staff at Kintyre Medical Group
- Undertake drop-in clinics at the surgery, including structured chronic disease management and recall
- Work as a first responder for all medical emergencies and coordinate with other agencies to provide a coordinated approach to emergency incidents
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Excellent clinical assessment skills and experience of working from PGDs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
- Desirable: Prescribing qualification and experience of working in a rural setting
