Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough security assessments and penetration testing on networks, applications, and systems, identifying vulnerabilities and providing actionable recommendations to enhance security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform penetration tests on networks, web applications, mobile applications, and cloud environments to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Develop and utilize custom exploits, scripts, and tools to support testing processes and stay current on emerging security threats, trends, and techniques.
  • Collaborate with development and IT teams to implement security best practices and contribute to the development and refinement of internal security tools and methodologies.
  • Participate in red team exercises to evaluate existing security measures and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and emerging threats to ensure the highest level of security for our clients.

Requirements

  • OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) certification is required.
  • Proven experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment is essential.
  • Proficiency with tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and Wireshark is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10) is required.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is necessary.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Strong communication skills for documenting findings and interacting with clients are necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
  • Ethical and responsible approach to security testing is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with red teaming, threat hunting, or adversary simulation is desirable.
  • Additional certifications like OSCE, CEH, or CISSP are highly valued.
  • Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of reverse engineering and malware analysis is highly valued.
