Position: Registered General Nurse
Compensation: £21.68 per hour
Work Schedule: 36.75 hours per week - Flexible shifts including days and nights - Day shifts from 8:00am to 8:15pm / Night shifts from 8:00pm to 8:15am
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive, personalized care plans, ensuring regular reviews and evaluations in line with NMC guidelines and organizational policies.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and assist in pre-arranged patient treatments.
- Oversee personal workload management.
- Conduct ongoing assessments and reviews of all patients.
- Track and monitor patient progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Apply surgical dressings and provide additional treatment modalities.
- Organize duty schedules and direct the training and work of nursing staff.
- Provide guidance on nursing care and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with management and senior nursing staff to ensure effective communication for the benefit of patients and their families.
- Plan, manage, deliver, and assess nursing care services, supervising the execution of nursing care plans.
Qualifications Required:
- Possess an NQF Level 6 qualification (or equivalent).
- Hold an NMC Pin as a Registered General Nurse.
- Demonstrate prior nursing experience.
- Exhibit excellent communication abilities.
- Show strong teamwork skills.
- Possess the necessary knowledge for the role.
- Have the essential skills to perform the tasks outlined above.
