Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Marie Curie Hospice. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with complex symptoms and needs, ensuring their dignity and comfort throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, using a patient-centred approach and evidence-based practice.
- Administer medication and treatment as prescribed, in accordance with NMC policies and guidelines.
- Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their carers, promoting a positive and compassionate environment.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and guidelines in palliative care.

- RGN Registration Level 1.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of palliative care and the needs of patients with complex symptoms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, carers, and colleagues.
- Welsh speaking is desirable but not essential.
