Workshop Powered Access Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Powered Access Engineer to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a Workshop Powered Access Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and examining powered access equipment at our depot in West Bromwich, with occasional trips out to attend breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and service powered access equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and small repairs as required
  • Keep accurate service and maintenance records up to date
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines in the workshop and on site
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance work with the team
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role or within the access, crane, forklift, or motor industry
  • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems
  • UK driving licence essential
  • IPAF CAP training desirable but not essential
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary of £35,000-£42,000 (dependent on experience)
