Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Banker in Private Banking to join our team at Standard Bank of South Africa Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting a deep relationship-based offering related initiatives and activities aimed at creating value for the client and the bank.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with affluent clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver client-centric initiatives that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and optimal business outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans to achieve sales targets and improve client satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in branch banking, with exposure to universal banking, BDC/Forex, credit, and overall client service.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, with a degree in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to analyze business data to inform decision-making.
