Job Summary
We are seeking an innovative and inclusive leader to join our Supportive and Palliative Care Team as a Senior Staff Nurse. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide highly specialist occupational therapy assessment and management of adult patients with complex palliative care needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an autonomous practitioner, providing specialist occupational therapy assessment and management of adult patients with complex palliative care needs.
- Contribute to the development of our pilot service for patients with specialist palliative care needs, gathering data to support sustainable funding.
- Advise, share experience with, and guide less experienced colleagues, non-registered staff, and students in the care of patients with specialist palliative care needs.
- Participate in clinical leadership, planning, coordinating, and delivering the therapy service provided to patients on a day-to-day basis.
