Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

Support and Coordination

  • Organize and prepare regular and ad hoc reports for Hayfin's investor community.
  • Draft communications, reports, and other documentation for senior team members' review.
  • Collaborate with Hayfin's investment, finance, and legal departments, as well as external administrators and vendors, to ensure precise reporting and address investor inquiries.

Client Engagement, Marketing, and Fundraising:

  • Prepare presentations, handouts, analyses, and briefing materials in advance of client meetings.
  • Assist in the Firm's fundraising and client retention strategies by coordinating information flows and drafting RFP/DDQ responses for senior team members' evaluation.
  • Oversee the preparation and upkeep of marketing materials and data rooms for fundraising activities.
  • Maintain an updated list of Frequently Asked Questions.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate quarterly reports for funds and SMAs for distribution to investors.
  • Prepare materials for regular investor update calls, semi-annual Advisory Board meetings, and annual Investor Day events.
  • Create and sustain case studies for investments.

Product Development and Project Management:

  • Enhance understanding of Hayfin's strategies, including investments, returns, fees, and investor profiles.
  • Gain insights into the competitive landscape and market trends.
  • Contribute to new initiatives and engage with investors and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in a comparable role, with a minimum undergraduate degree classification of 2:1.
  • Familiarity with private markets and fundraising processes.
  • Experience in marketing, sales, and client communications.
  • Training and experience in technical financial modeling and analysis.
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities with a knack for problem-solving.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with robust problem-solving capabilities.
  • CFA/CAIA qualification or progress towards it is advantageous.
