Mechanical Installation Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to lead our Mechanical Installation team at Trant Engineering Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of mechanical systems, ensuring the highest level of safety and quality, and managing a team of site staff and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Management: Manage a site team, ensuring that all works are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Subcontractor Management: Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors, ensuring that they meet the required standards.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure that all works are carried out to the highest quality and safety standards, and that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Client Interface: Liaise with clients to ensure that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the work being carried out.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to the M&E Project Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Permit Management: Manage and sign off permits for confined space and temporary works.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: HND/BEng in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: SMSTS, CSCS, EUSR Water card.
