About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, mechanical power, and control wiring at our Midlands Super Hub.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including fault finding and diagnosis.
  • Work on multiple FM systems, with a focus on electrical maintenance.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to customers and colleagues on M&E equipment.
  • Understand and repair plumbing systems, including taps, sinks, and heating elements.
  • Conduct general building fabric repairs to maintain the standard of the building.
  • Supply technical knowledge and expertise in a range of situations, making personal judgments on how to achieve quality, cost, and time objectives.
  • Liaise with customers' representatives to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Check and complete all necessary paperwork.
Requirements
  • Hold an Electrical certification, such as the 18th Edition.
  • Experience in planned maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to analyze and understand technical issues related to electrical systems.
  • IPAF and MEWP training and qualification an advantage.
  • Computer literacy skills an advantage.
