About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant. As a key member of our catering team, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation, presentation, and serving of meals within the Home.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area and utensils.
  • Follow guidance and instruction set by the Chef and Home Manager.
  • Adhere to the Hazard Analysis System.
  • Maintain a high standard for all residents.
  • Ensure daily completion of Hazard Analysis.
  • Rotating supplies to reduce waste and making sure goods are stored correctly.
  • Ensure security of the kitchen in the absence of the Chef Manager.
  • Report any faults to Chef Manager as soon as possible.
  • Attend all training meetings.
Requirements
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work and demonstrate understanding of safe practices.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to the Equal Opportunities Policy.
