About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment Adviser to join our team at Reed in Partnership in Newcastle. As an Employment Adviser, you will play a vital role in supporting unemployed jobseekers in finding and sustaining employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with jobseekers to identify challenges and barriers to employment
  • Book jobseekers onto relevant training courses, including customer service, security, hospitality, personal development, and IT literacy
  • Support jobseekers with CV writing and job application processes
  • Liaise with employers to identify employment opportunities for jobseekers
  • Conduct outreach work to promote Reed in Partnership within the local community
Requirements
  • Experience in coaching/mentoring and persuasion/influencing skills
  • Background in customer-facing environments, such as customer services, hospitality, or social care
  • Experience working in a performance-target driven environment
  • Ability to travel locally to meet customers and employers
  • Minimum of 2 A-Levels or equivalent Level 3 Diploma
  • GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B or equivalent Level 2 qualification
