We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team at Shorterm Group. As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for energy projects, including power connections, EVCP, battery, and solar installations.

• Prepare detailed estimates covering materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Analyse tender documents and support the bid process, including tender submissions.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project costs and provide ongoing support to project teams.
• Conduct research on material costs and industry trends.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather information and maintain clear communication.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and maintain accurate records of estimates and bids.

• Higher level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field; professional memberships (RICS, CIOB) advantageous.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the utilities sector, preferably in power.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, proficient in estimating tools, and ability to work under pressure.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as needed.
