We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cellular Pathologist to join our team at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant in Cellular Pathology, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a multi-professional team and take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
- Expertise in full range of Cellular Pathology workload, including hematopathology, gynaecological Pathology, uropathology, and GI pathology
- Develop and implement training programs for junior colleagues
- Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
- Participate in audit and quality improvement initiatives
- Fully registered with the GMC
- CCT (or equivalent) in the specialty of Cellular Pathology
- Expertise in Cellular Pathology workload, including hematopathology, gynaecological Pathology, uropathology, and GI pathology
- Ability to lead a multi-professional team and take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
- Sub-specialty interests will be supported
