About the Role

8PP Barristers & Associates Ltd is a dynamic and innovative law firm seeking experienced barristers and solicitors to join our team as Commercial Legal Counsel. As a key member of our litigation department, you will be responsible for handling complex civil litigation cases, primarily in the fields of financial mis-selling, consumer credit, and banking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling instructions in complex civil litigation cases
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior members of the team
  • Developing and implementing litigation strategies
  • Representing clients in court, including County Court and High Court
  • Assisting in the training and development of junior staff members

Requirements:

  • Strong post-qualification experience in civil litigation
  • Technical expertise in the Civil Procedure Rules
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Higher rights of audience qualification (for solicitors)
