Exciting Career Opportunity:

First Achieve Ltd is seeking a skilled Manual Turner to join our Engineering Division in the Fife region. As a Manual Turner, you will be responsible for manufacturing defence-based components in our workshop.

What We Offer:

  • A temporary to permanent contract with a 12-week probation period
  • A competitive hourly rate of £18 during the temporary period, paid through an agency
  • A permanent salary of circa £16 per hour
  • A 39-hour work week with a 4.5-day work week
  • A regular working schedule from 7am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday, and 7am to 1pm on Fridays
  • Overtime at 1.5 times the regular rate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manual turning of components using lathes and other power tools
  • Reading and interpreting design and assembly drawings

Requirements:

  • Experience in manual turning and lathe operation
  • Previous experience working in a workshop environment
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
