As a Hygiene Technician, you will be essential in maintaining compliance and ensuring a safe, clean environment for our dental professionals and patients.

You will uphold the highest standards for both your colleagues and our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning assigned areas to the highest standards
• Adhering to the cleaning protocols specific to dental practices
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations, COSHH, and all relevant guidelines
• Keeping accurate cleaning records – daily, weekly, monthly, and annually
• Implementing the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness and the National Colour Coding Scheme
• Following Infection Control procedures
• Caring for cleaning equipment
• Ensuring proper use of Personal Protective Equipment
• Handling electrical cleaning devices
• Understanding the lone worker policy and conducting risk assessments
• Managing waste appropriately (excluding hazardous or sharp waste)
• Upholding confidentiality standards
• Executing any other reasonable requests from management

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar cleaning role
• Familiarity with COSHH regulations is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable with excellent punctuality
• Ability to work autonomously
• Must meet client vetting clearance requirements for the position
