Position Summary:

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have completed an apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of cranes and lifting equipment, both onshore and offshore.
  • Conduct repairs and inspections on various electrical systems and equipment.
  • Execute fault finding and repairs on hydraulic and mechanical systems.
  • Assist in the identification and procurement of spare parts.
  • Generate clear and factual documentation and reports.
  • Plan and execute rigging and lifting operations.
  • Adhere to site HSEQ standards.
  • Collaborate with site personnel to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Minimize environmental risks during operations, ensuring all safety controls are utilized offshore.


Required Skills:

  • Experience in the offshore/marine crane sector, preferably with Liebherr, Kenz, and NOV cranes.
  • Proficiency in commissioning and troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance practices for cranes.
  • Possession of BOSIET certification.
  • Competent in IT and report writing.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and engineering drawings effectively.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with marine engineering applications.
