We are seeking an experienced Liability Loss Adjuster to join our growing Casualty team at Davies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for investigating allocated claims in the field or from the desk, compiling evidence and documentation, and preparing preliminary reports.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with Insurers, Policyholders, and Brokers to resolve claims efficiently.
- Investigate claims, gathering and analyzing evidence to determine liability and quantum.
- Prepare and present preliminary reports, detailing evidence and commenting on policy indemnity, legal liability, and tactics.
- Determine appropriate action for resolution of the case, defending or negotiating settlement within agreed authority limits.
- Correspond with all parties professionally to progress the case to conclusion.
- Investigate and handle all cases in accordance with client requirements, referring to documented procedures as necessary.
- Maintain a proper reserve at all times, reviewing regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date on technical changes relevant to the role, participating in training programs facilitated by the company.
