Our client is seeking a seasoned Cyber Security Risk Manager to oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of their information security risk management framework. This framework must align with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk assessment methodologies, tools, and processes to identify, evaluate, and prioritize information security risks.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments of critical systems, processes, and technologies to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with business units to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies that balance security needs with business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of risk analysts, providing guidance and fostering a culture of security awareness and risk-conscious behavior.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6+ years of experience in information security risk management, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of information security standards, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT).
  • A proven track record of building and leading risk management frameworks in a complex, global organization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC are highly desirable.

This is a 6-month contract, paying between £900-£1000/day, dependent on experience. The role will require occasional travel to our London office.
