Position Overview: A leading credit management firm is seeking an Assistant Vice President in Loans Trade Support. This role is integral to the desk that manages Loans, Bonds, and Asset-Backed Securities (ABS). The ideal candidate will possess experience in handling distressed trades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate new trade orders and oversee the entire process until settlement is achieved.
  • Provide front office assistance: support traders, analysts, and portfolio managers, serving as the central link between the desk and various business units.
  • Supervise the closing procedures for LMA/LSTA par and distressed trades.
  • Track settlements related to Bonds and ABS (CLO Debt/Equity).
  • Assist in the restructuring of complex assets.
  • Conduct liquidity monitoring activities.
  • Research and process corporate actions and restructures.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Loans from either the buy-side or sell-side.
  • Strong understanding of LMA and LSTA loan closing processes and documentation.
  • Previous involvement with distressed trades is essential.
