About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Group Finance team at Aviva as a Financial Reporting Manager. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing financial reporting support to the business, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial consolidation and reporting processes, and delivering high-quality financial results to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce financial reports, analysis, and insights to support business decision-making and external reporting requirements.
  • Manage documentation and controls in line with Aviva's financial reporting controls framework (FRCF) and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with business unit finance teams to support the delivery of group results and disclosures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business unit finance teams and external parties.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reports, including annual reports, half-year interim results, quarterly trading updates, and other regulatory reports.
Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant with experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Advanced planning and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results under pressure.

  • Competitive salary between £50,000 - £55,000 (national) and £60,000 - £70,000 (London).
