Location: Newcastle upon Tyne (Fenham)

Hours of Work: 3 hours per fortnight (every other Saturday)

Rate of Pay: £12.00 per hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Personal Assistant to support an 11-year-old individual with autism in various activities and daily tasks. The successful candidate will have a clean driving license and own vehicle to transport the individual to and from activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the individual in their daily activities, including swimming, trampoline parks, and soft plays
  • Assist with personal care tasks, as needed
  • Communicate effectively with the individual, using alternative methods when necessary
  • Develop a strong relationship with the individual and their family, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with autism
  • Clean driving license and own vehicle
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the individual and their family
  • Comfortable with personal care tasks
