Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lessons that adhere to the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Evaluate, document, and communicate pupil progress and development.
  • Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment that promotes a passion for learning.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the diverse needs of all learners.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to exchange best practices and enhance the educational experience.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and well-being.
  • Actively participate in school events and initiatives, contributing to the vibrant school community.

Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in a primary educational setting, particularly within Key Stage 2.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment methodologies.
  • Exceptional classroom management abilities and the capacity to cultivate a supportive learning atmosphere.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and participation in training opportunities.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the broader school environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
