We are currently looking for a SEN Support Assistant to join our collaborative team.

  • Position: SEN Support Assistant
  • Salary: £20,516.00 per annum
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
  • Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

About the Role

As a SEN Support Assistant, you will engage directly with our exceptional students, helping them to maximize their educational experiences. Each student has a diagnosis of Autism and may have additional needs, and they will depend on your guidance to navigate their personalized learning journeys.

Your responsibilities will include preparing educational materials and facilitating classroom activities, providing hands-on support while also ensuring proper supervision. You will be instrumental in addressing their emotional and physical needs, assisting them in their personal development and engagement with the world around them.

Every day will present unique challenges, but you will have ample support, drawing on a wealth of skills and experience, as well as valuable advice and guidance to help you thrive in your role.

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of SEN needs and autism.
  • Experience in SEN settings is highly desirable.
