Job Summary:

We are seeking two experienced and dedicated individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in planning, preparing and delivering lessons to students with SEN
  • Assist students with their learning, including providing one-to-one support and small group work
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers and other staff members
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with students with SEN, including physical impairment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with students, teachers and other staff members
  • Good numeracy, literacy and ICT skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
