Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an Autism Specialist, you will work closely with children in KS1 or KS2 with Autism, providing individualized support and encouragement to help them reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children with Autism, with experience in SEN settings. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing 1:1 support to children with Autism, helping them to develop social and emotional skills
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assisting with classroom activities and providing additional support as needed
  • Communicating effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment
