Electrical Site Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join our team delivering M&E projects as part of the Wessex Water Framework. This role is for a Site Supervisor/Manager with a background in the delivery of water projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise electrical staff and report to the Site Manager.
  2. Plan, organise and supervise electrical installation and testing works on electrical equipment.
  3. Scope new works, surveys, etc.
  4. Ensure company safety policies are adhered to at all times.
  5. Communicate plans, programmes and safe systems of work with project stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Installation background within the water, power or other heavier industrial sectors.
  2. SSSTS / SMSTS.
  3. Electrical Trade Skills demonstrated by NVQ/Apprenticeship.
  4. C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations.
  5. ECS/CSCS Card.
  6. Full UK Driving License.
  7. Computer Literate.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  1. C&G Medium Risk Confined Space.
  2. Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (e.g. IPAF).
