The primary objective of this role is to ensure that the market premises are kept clean and well-maintained, with a strong emphasis on exceptional customer service and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing walls, and maintaining restrooms and preparation areas.
2. Utilize knowledge of market operations to prioritize cleaning duties and address visible litter effectively.
3. Implement a safe cleaning protocol for the collection and disposal of waste, including various types of litter and recyclables.
4. Ensure that all refuse is transported to the designated compactor and maintain clear access to aisles and litter bins at all times.
5. Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in good working condition.
