Key Responsibilities- Monitor patients' conditions by taking vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, and weight.
- Assist in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care.
- Ensure that patients are the prime focus when making decisions about their care and well-being, respecting their dignity and human rights.
- Assist patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living, promoting independence and autonomy.
- Minimum of 6 months' experience as a Care Support Worker in an acute hospital or hospice setting within the last 2 years.
- Completion of the Care Certificate or a relevant qualification, such as a QCF Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services or a Degree/Diploma in Nursing.
