We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Governance: Ensure that all projects are delivered in accordance with our governance framework, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Resource Management: Manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and materials, to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Project Planning: Lead the planning of projects, including developing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Work Management: Manage work as defined in the Work Authorisation Document (WAD), ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
- Change Management: Lead, support, and initiate change against the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB), ensuring that all changes are properly assessed and implemented.
- Risk and Opportunity Management: Lead, initiate, and perform risk and opportunity identification and subsequent actions, ensuring that all risks are properly mitigated and opportunities are fully exploited.
Requirements:
- Project Management Experience: Proven experience in project management, with a focus on construction projects.
- Construction Background: A strong background in construction, with knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
- APM Qualification: Hold an APM qualification or equivalent.
- NEC Contracts: Have experience with NEC contracts from a commercial perspective.
- Civil/Construction Background: A civil or construction background, with knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Desirable Skills: NEBOSH/CDM Regulations, Public sector experience.
