About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Agile Delivery Manager to join our team at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). As a key member of our Strategy and Governance function, you will play a critical role in delivering our strategic improvement to Timeliness of guidance development programme.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality digital projects and products that meet users' needs and intended outcomes. You will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team from across NICE to create digitally enabled services that standardize and improve the end-to-end guidance production process.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coach the team in agile best practices, encouraging them to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery to support both business processes and technical outcomes.
  • Support the transition of services into business as usual along with future iterations of development through continuous improvement cycles.

You will be passionate about agile processes and keen to be an advocate for them throughout NICE, seeking opportunities to influence how they can be used to support delivery of this key programme of work.

Requirements
  • Certified Agile qualification or good knowledge and experience of agile project/implementation practices, tools & techniques.
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality digital projects and products that meet users' needs and intended outcomes.
  • Extensive knowledge of digital industry standards and processes for successfully planning and managing the delivery of digitally enabled systems and services.
