Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Mars (New). As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing fault diagnosis and resolving random failures on production machinery, such as automation, electrical and mechanical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fault diagnosis and resolve random failures on production machinery.
- Escalate maintenance issues where necessary.
- Detailed reporting and recording of maintenance work.
- Provide technical expertise to assist others in resolving equipment issues.
- Drive reactive maintenance continuous improvement.
- Undertake preventative maintenance activities, equipment checks, repairs etc.
- Conduct training and coaching of all operators, technicians and apprentices.
- Monitor and reduce the amount of energy consumed.
- Complete risk assessment/permit to work and formulate method statements to assist in safe undertaking of any activity.
- Measures and monitors both the quality of work and the accurate recording of shift reliability issues.
- Identify, design, and implement controls improvement solutions.
- Work with engineering on specific electrical and or controls projects from design to startup, including HMI and PLC programming, installation, checkout, start-up, and training.
- Provide on-shift plant-wide support for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolution of Level I (PLC/Servos) and Level II (HMI) system related problems.
