Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Meriden Media. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our warehouse and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a small team of warehouse staff and evaluate their performance against established KPIs and customer SLAs.
  • Ensure all required reports are completed accurately and on time, including inventory management and stock control.
  • Be hands-on in the warehouse, including regular lifting, carrying, and driving, and provide a hand-over at the end of each shift.
  • Operate PPT/FLT equipment and occasionally drive a company van.
Requirements:
  • Full UK manual driving licence.
  • Indate external counterbalance forklift certificate (desirable).
  • Experience using a PPT truck and a minimum of two years' supervisory experience within a distribution environment.
  • Be adaptable regarding working hours and support other resources as needed.
  • Basic understanding of Human Resources processes, including absence management, conduct management, and performance management.
  • Basic IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office.
About the Role:

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime required. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package.
