We're seeking a skilled Functional Specialist to join our team, where you'll have the opportunity to work with a leading employer in a hybrid working role. As a Functional Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing unbiased and comprehensive assessments for the government's disability allowance (PIP), while ensuring a personalized, inclusive, and safe service for claimants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports (PBR)
  • Manage caseloads from end to end, including assessing a wide range of health conditions and disabilities
  • Have time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence, and team meetings
