Key Responsibilities
  • Installation of Fire & Security Systems: Execute the setup of fire alarms, security systems, and associated equipment in accordance with client requirements and industry standards.
  • System Testing and Commissioning: Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of fire and security systems to ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.
  • Technical Issue Resolution: Identify and rectify technical problems with installed systems, delivering swift and effective solutions.
  • Client Engagement: Interact with clients to comprehend their requirements, provide updates on project status, and offer necessary technical assistance.
  • Maintenance and Upgrades: Carry out regular maintenance and enhancements on existing fire and security systems to boost performance and ensure reliability.
  • Documentation Management: Keep precise records of installations, maintenance, and service activities, ensuring all documentation aligns with company standards.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with fellow engineers and team members to deliver exceptional service and support, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance overall team performance.
  • Travel Requirements: Travel to various client locations within your designated area to perform installations, maintenance, and service tasks.

Qualifications
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in Fire & Security Engineering, demonstrating proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarms and security systems.
  • Local Knowledge: Familiarity with local regulations and standards.
  • Driving License: A valid and clean driving license is required for travel between client sites.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with fire and security system installations, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and deliver outstanding service.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to efficiently diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to all aspects of installation, maintenance, and documentation.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues to achieve common objectives.
  • Desirable: Experience in commissioning fire and security systems is a plus.
