We are seeking a skilled and experienced Yard Operative/Relief HGV Driver to join our team at Huws Gray Ellesmere Port.

Job Summary:

As a Yard Operative/Relief HGV Driver, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring stock is accurately stored and managed, and making deliveries as required. You will work closely with our drivers to load and unload vehicles, and be security-conscious to safeguard against loss and theft of stock.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, offering knowledge of our stock and ensuring products are ready for deliveries and collections.
  • Support with incoming deliveries, ensuring stock is stored correctly and in line with Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Work as a team to help drivers by loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Make deliveries in branch vehicles as required.
  • Safeguard against loss and theft of stock by being security-conscious.
Requirements:

We are looking for someone with a Class 2 licence and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will need to be able to work effectively as part of a team and be security-conscious to safeguard against loss and theft of stock.
