About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ALM Analyst to join our team, responsible for calculating and reporting the Society's Market exposures and supporting the ongoing development and maintenance of the Society's ALM models.

This role will involve extensive usage of QRM, the Society's risk management system, with opportunities to help develop and optimise the system and models to create further value-added insights and recommendations to Senior Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support other members of the team in a technical capacity
  • Develop and maintain the Society's ALM models
  • Calculate and report the Society's Market exposures
  • Operate and develop a bespoke risk management/income simulation model
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a Treasury/ALM position
  • Knowledge and understanding of Market Risk (IRRBB) concepts and measurements
  • Ability to coach and mentor Trainee ALM Analysts
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including a good level of proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to manage and analyse large sets of financial data
  • Ability to communicate proposals and recommendations in written and verbal form to a range of recipients, including senior management
