Cameron Kennedy Limited is a prominent Investment Management firm located in London, seeking to enhance its Corporate Actions division with a skilled professional.
Essential Qualifications:
To be eligible for consideration, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Corporate Actions, encompassing both UK and International practices.
- Must be based in the UK and possess the right to work in the UK (this role does not offer sponsorship).
Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Collaborating with Third Party Administrators (TPA) on all matters related to corporate actions.
- Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of corporate actions and their implications on Wealth Management portfolios.
- Grasping the concept of Book costs in relation to Corporate Actions.
- Serving as the central contact for all Front Office inquiries regarding Corporate Actions, actively engaging with TPA to ensure prompt resolutions.
- Assisting in various aspects of corporate actions management.
- Regularly evaluating TPA services to identify potential enhancements or modifications that could lead to operational efficiencies.
- Participating in projects aimed at improving operational effectiveness, particularly concerning corporate actions.
- Enhancing processes within the Operations Oversight Team by leveraging IT Development and Microsoft tools.
- Providing support to the Operations Oversight team as necessary.
Accountabilities:
- Delivering consistent updates to the Head of Operations, including relevant Management Information (MI).
- Engaging in the preparation of governance materials to ensure that individuals overseeing TPA and regulatory updates can fulfill their responsibilities.
- Conducting daily reviews of Corporate Actions.
- Communicating Mandatory Corporate Actions to the Front Office in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Ensuring timely responses to all Voluntary Corporate Actions.
- Performing operational and TPA oversight tasks as needed to facilitate the smooth operation of the Operational Oversight Team.
